It's getting hot in the inland empire. Normally this goes ignored by me but for some reason this year I'm inspired to bring out some color. This is a very new and very unexpected development.

I love these shorts, they are high waisted and very comfortable--they're almost like stylish gym shorts! I had a hard time trying to find a matching top for them this morning because everything seemed to go. Obviously I took the easy way out.

As far as accessories go I am too on board for layers of giant gold things. I'm letting summer take over my wardrobe today.

It's been a couple great weeks full of change for me. One of the major ones is a new job I'll be starting next week. Fingers crossed everyone! I have a feeling it's going to be a great new experience for me.

My original plan for today was to go to the beach and take pictures but that failed and I stayed in town and took care of some care issues. However these pictures were the result, so staying around and checking out hidden spots in the area ended up being a pretty wonderful way to spend the day.

Are you all getting your warm weather fix yet? I could take some hot summer days right about now.

Another Bebe outfit here, I cannot get enough of that store. I love that I can start breaking out my sandals now that we're starting to get some warm weather.

I didn't wear this to work today but I've been obsessed with this outfit for about two weeks. I love when you combine items you've had forever into amazing creations and they feel like new again.

I SHOULD throw this on for tomorrow when I go wine tasting in Temecula but I think my 2b maxi dress is in order. Spring needs to know I have its back too.

I am obsessed with this 2b dress I bought a few weeks ago. It's a maxi that seems to be the perfect length. I love the white and the bohemian lace texture. I felt like my whole day at Bebe was spent running this dress around to various clients who also fell victim to its charm.

I wore it with a button-up blue denim shirt to and from work and it dressed it down perfectly. Very "exploring California during a summer roadtrip". The perfect way to spend summer, if you ask me.

I hope you all had an amazing holiday and welcome to the year 2012!

All the family has gone home and my crazy work schedule has calmed down. As much as I enjoyed it all I am enjoying getting back to my relaxing routine.

The weather has been wonderful these last few weeks and it makes me fall in love with all the new summer dresses and brightly colores spring items we're getting in at Bebe.
